New interactable props, Instruction, Animations and Bug fixes


For the past two weeks,  we have continued our last week's plan for adding more interactable and improving based on the week before last week's playtesting session. 

First, our game has a new interactable: sit-up bar. The player can now use this prop to let the cat exercise and reduce the food it ate by one. Besides this, we now have our cute cat model and walking animation imported into the game, so now the cat can be more vivid. One major feedback we recieved from the previous playtesting session was the confusion regarding how the gameplay works. We added an instruction page (mentioned in last dev log) but still found that the player was confused about how and when to use the props. To address this, we decided to add heads-up display instructions, which will show up when the player goes near interactable and teach the player how to use the props, stating what buttons/keys need to be pressed and generally what the result of these will be. 

For the coming week, we're planning to further polish our game based on this week's playtesting session and also keep adding more interactables we planned and have assets for from the art team such as the cucumber, and the toy mouse. We were also hoping to add more cat randomness and implement animations as we do this as this was something players were hoping for from the game.
